Tails’ blue eyes brightened—for a moment Amberly was struck with how beautiful the eyes of the Mobians were. She knew her own were out of the ordinary with their ringed coloring and even more so with their glow-in-the-dark features, but Sonic and Tails’ were something else. Sonic's eyes were so deep and expansive and alive, like the forest at sunset, and Tails’ seemed just as vast, 50 different shades of the unclouded sky dazzling in its depths like gemstones. Even Shadow, who had hunted them and chased them down. His eyes seemed like they were on fire.

Shadow survived.
It’s not pretty, and it’s not some happy family reunion. Everyone is thrown into a huge ugly pile of deception. Old wounds that have healed, and fresh wounds that didn’t have time to heal, were ripped open again. Everyone is back in the fray before they had a second to process what happened with the Eclipse Cannon. No one knows what to do about anything, we’re all confused, screaming crying and freaking out…and this is the mess that unfolds because of it.
I don’t know how to summarize this, I haven't written in a while either, just have fun. Grab your BAB Workshop Shadow stuffy and give him a tight hug and forehead kiss for me, because I don’t have one. And Sonic too.
