I just wanted to write an inumaki runaway au! He’s still gonna meet the second and first years and stuff but it will be different to cannon. I also took some creative liberties with his backstory and yes he may be my favourite character but I still want him to suffer lol. It’s not that graphic tho so dw.
Toge knew he was different. His clan hated him and he hated them, after all, it isn’t easy being a cursed speech user in the inumaki clan. So, he left as soon as he could. He went rouge and never looked back, he now works on his own exorcising curses and he’s pretty happy with his new life. So can these stupid sorcerers please leave him alone?!

Regulus sits and questions all his choices. While doing his best to turn a blind eye (though he only has the one) to the weird ache in his chest when he takes in the words, and focus more on the matter at hand.
"No," Regulus whispers. He shuffles on top of James, leaning closer. "What are you to do when the emperor passes?"
James' eyes widen, he lurches back. Head pressing further onto the pillows.
Regulus follows, the knife pressing harder into the skin, which stretches and pales under the pressure.
"Mourn him," James says simply.
Regulus raises a brow.
"And after that?"
Or,

Regulus wants desperately to move to Beauxbatons with his only friends, but his parents would never agree to it... unless, of course, there was a scandal that only leaving Hogwarts could solve. And Regulus knows just the way to do that. Enter: James Fleamont Potter.
There's nobody Walburga Black hates more than the blood traitor who corrupted Sirius and stole him away from her. Pretending to date James is the perfect scandal, and if Walburga were to send Regulus to Beauxbatons? Well, that would certainly solve the issue.
The only problem is, Regulus isn’t sure he wants that scandal solved anymore. And it might just be too late to do anything about it.
