Things are getting heated in the archives, with the Unknowing fast approaching Gertrude and Gerry have lots of preparations to attend to. Gerry seeks help from a certain servant of the Spiral and begins to realise that she might not be an individual to trust. Does he have a choice though?

Heavily inspired by “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” by Robert Louis Stevenson, but set in TMA universe. The story follows Tim as he begins investing his illusive new co-worker: Jonny D’Ville.
I’ve tagged this as crack purely because I don’t really know what else to tag it as (I re-read it in my notes app after not working on it for a month and thought I’d was absurd enough for that title lmao).

He watched the realization dawn over Scar's face, lighting up. “Oh! Okay, this is great, amazing even- so uh…” he glances down at Mumbo’s lips. “How do we, uh… do this? Do I just hold still? Tilt my head? Present my wrist like in the movies?”
“Scar-“ Mumbo groaned. Half sob half laugh. “Please don’t make this harder than it needs to be.”
Scars grin turned sheepish, an innocent kind. “Right. Sorry. I’ll shut up.”

Summary
Timothy Stoker and Jonathan Sims are perfectly normal private investigators who have just moved to the quaint town of Stoneworth. Absolutely nothing sinister or spooky is going on, Jon definitely doesn't drink blood, Tim doesn't smell like wet dog, and their new flat most certainly isn't haunted.
After all, ghosts aren't real.
Right?...
In other words: Vampire!Jon and Werewolf!Tim move their private eye business to a small English university town expecting it to be quieter than London.
Then ghost!Martin appears, local grad student Sasha James brings a string of disappearances to their attention, the police are werewolves, the academics are vampires, and the gentry are mad scientists.
But despite it all, Jon adamantly maintains that ghosts definitely, certainly, absolutely are NOT real, thank you VERY much.Now complete!
