He regrets the words the moment they come out of his mouth. But that other, older Spock said that he needed to get command of the ship, and to do so, must get his younger counterpart to acknowledge his emotions. Spock is not the first Vulcan Jim has had dealings with, and he can think of few things that would get T’pri as riled up as quickly as insinuating that she doesn’t love him.
He gambles that Spock is the same about his mother, and it pays off.
(Or, the one where Jim has a Vulcan daughter, and it leads to all sorts of emotions.)

Summary
Bucky wasn’t the type of spy to go into a mission blind. Unless it was Director Fury giving him the mission, in which case, he trusted and feared the man in equal enough measures to do what he said without question. Normally, Fury didn’t steer him wrong, but Bucky was starting to get the feeling that somewhere, somehow, the director was watching and enjoying his discomfort. Fury was a bastard like that.
Bucky knew he should’ve asked for clarification, but in his defense, Fury was scary. With that in mind, he didn't think he could be blamed for picking up the wrong partner. Now, if only he could get Natasha to see his side. Tony wasn't that bad.

It was an idea that, by later that afternoon, he had discarded as complete fallacy and the workings of a hungover mind. Still, he already had a robotic workshop helper, albeit one without any helical gears at all. Perhaps it was time DUM-E had a friend.
A soulmate fic although the soulmate part isn't the main focus. Part of the Robot Army concept but can be read as a stand alone.

It took kind of a long time for GQ to get himself back up to par, after Midway. Croc helped—didn't leave him, afterward. Wouldn't leave him. But GQ wasn't going to make a big deal about it if Croc wasn't. Until the Squad's next mission got them captured, anyway, and GQ got thrown in a hole with a bunch of flooded rubble and a Croc who was even more non-verbal than usual, and also probably going to eat him.

Driven by memories of the past, and conflicting emotions regarding the other man that each once considered a friend, the Priest and Black Hat race to reach the Queen before the other.
