Michael had expected a coffin or at least a hole in the ground, so when he found his target asleep on a bed he was surprised.
The room around him was messy, but looked so familiar that it could have been his own, he realized. Posters on the walls, clothes messily folded on a chair, a stereo on the bedside table... It seemed they even shared similar music taste, Michael recognized some of his favorite albums in the cassettes stacked next to it.

If he’s down, now’s not the time to be alone in a battle.”
“Before I do anything,” Peter said, hushed, “I need you all to understand that I’d do what you asked if I could.”
“What’s happening?” Mr. Stark asked, immediately worried. Other voices chorused after, a blend of professional concern.
Peter swallowed hard before firing a web to swing into the fray. “Cap’s going after civilians. I’m out of time.”

Clint has once again been wrangled into doing something because Natasha thinks it’ll be good for him; he’s not sure why she thinks she needs therapy too, but he knows better than to question her logic at this point.
Bucky’s doubtful that group therapy is going to do much for his crippling sense of self-loathing (and to be honest, he really doesn’t want the help), but Steve’s convinced it will be beneficial for both of them to learn to deal with the mistakes from their past.
None of them ever expected to have to deal with secret government organizations, eccentric billionaires, or unwanted super powers on top of their personal problems, but then, they are already paying Sam.
