Summary
After a fateful trip to Elba and a run in with dictator AFO, a young Midoriya’s life is never the same. He is accused of treason and makes his way to an inescapable prison. However, after meeting a wise old man who plans to escape, Midoriya learns the location to a secret treasure and an incredible power. He swears revenge against those who have wronged him, the newly appointed public defender, Todoroki Touya, one of his co-workers on the Pharon with an insatiable jealously, Shimura Tenko, and his supposed best friend for life, Bakugo Katsuki. All he needs now, is the means for escape.
You don’t need to know the Count of Monte Cristo to understand this story.

Especially if, also, you're a rat, and also all your children are mutants, and you live in the sewer, and you have no idea what you're doing. When Hamato Yoshi is presented with the chance to return to the surface with his sons and give them a 'normal' life as humans, he takes it.
He didn't think that they would forget about that whole turtle thing. But it seems kind of too late to tell them now. Surely they won't find out any other way, right?...

Leonardo is dead.
Or, at least, he should be. Instead, he is floating within a colorful vortex that reminds him too much of his own portals. He tries not to think too much about it. But, eventually he is forced to when the vortex spits him out into a world that used to be his home, many, many years ago.
Or; the one where Future!Leo somehow managed to luck out on a one in a million mere millisecond chance of a freak glitch in the space-time continuum that sends him back into the present, where the Invasion has been successfully driven back. And it looks like it was a one-way ticket travel.
Obviously, everybody is So Very Normal about this.
