Anyone who knew Izuku Midoriya would agree that he was a strange individual. Yet, most couldn’t describe why they thought so. He was a seemingly normal kid; played well with others, cried when he got hurt. He was amazing in the classroom and never disrespectful or rude to those around him. Yeah, he was quirkless, but that wasn’t why people thought him to be strange.
No, it was more a feeling. A gut sense of distrust, of deception. Most shrugged it off. He was a quirkless kid, that was probably why. It meant that he got left out of most friend groups and was bullied heavily. Humans don’t like things they don’t understand.
And no one could possibly understand the phenomenon that is Izuku Midoriya.

Midoriya Izuku was no stranger to anger.
It was an old friend of his, always lurking at the edges of his thoughts, tinting his vision a hazy red, tasting of rust heavily on his tongue.
And for all that Izuku had lived with this anger all his life up until now, seeing his once childhood friend and now bully be shoved into an ambulance with trembling, wrecked, and bloody hands and third-degree burns across most of his exposed skin, Izuku couldn’t lock it away anymore.
More importantly, he didn’t want to.
Society was a disgrace, condemning children to push and fight and die for an ideal that was out of their control. Heroes were a disgrace, too focused on looking good for the cameras and Quirk type-matchups to care for the literal fucking child being drowned in front of them.
It was time to burn it all to the ground. And Izuku was ready with a gallon of gasoline and a box of matches.

Izuku’s life was an unfortunate struggle each and every day. People ignored him for his lack of a quirk, his school sabotaged his learning, his childhood friend and almost brother turned on him to become his main abuser.
Izuku’s tired, and decides enough is enough. Yet it seems Izuku gets the short end of the stick even in death seeing as he isn’t allowed to move on, now stuck as a wandering ghost.
Or perhaps this was a blessing in disguise, he hasn’t had this much fun in his entire life.
IE: Izuku takes a fall but is forced to linger as a ghost. His fate hadn’t included his death so soon, Izuku was still needed. So now as a ghostie, Izuku has become a sort of guardian spirit to Class 1A’s hero course.

Oh, only if he knew what follows closely behind Eraserhead, something way more sinister and cruel starts to catch up with the both of them. It's only a matter of time before Izuku cracks.

Peeling skin, black sillouhettes, and grating screams that froze him in place where only a part of it. Their words and dark hymns followed him, crushing his body and soul.
But not as much as his mother did. Inko was prone to using her fists and venomous words to beat him down, and she was worse than the demons who followed him day and night.
"God does not shine upon you,"
The demons repeated it like a mantra, and they were all right. God hated them all, the fallen wingless angels who he damned for eternity. He loathed Izuku too, the boy who could see them. Izuku was cursed with an uncontrollable Quirk, but he tamed those demons. They were his, and his alone.
God sneered at him, and he smiled devilishly back. God had given the demons exactly what they needed...
Izuku Midoriya. A King.
