V still didn’t know if it had been Rogue who had spilled to Johnny where she was, or if it was another one of her well-meaning-but-ultimately-misguided chooms. All she knew was, when she got back from the Crystal Palace, her neurons had stopped eating themselves, and Johnny had been harder to reach than ever.
Not impossible to reach. They'd had a number of holocalls between then and now; he'd been sympathetic about Judy leaving her, and commiserated with his own longwinded tale about how the girl he was hooking up with was still convinced he was just a crazed Samurai fan who'd paid a pretty enny to look like Johnny Silverhand, no matter what he said or did to prove otherwise. They'd talked about how their respective meetings with Rogue’s son went (V’s went by pleasantly enough, while Johnny’s ended in his tibia getting smashed in two separate places). They'd even talked about the new Us Cracks album, which, flatteringly, referenced them both in three tracks.
But there had been a stiltedness present in all their conversations, something raw and accusing that V could never quite articulate, even to herself.

Stiles and Scott have been through a lot of shit, and things have been kind of forced (cautious) ever since the Thing. Stiles figures he should've known it would only take an embarrassing, emotional panic attack on his behalf for things to go back to normal.
