Summary
Bruce knows a few things: he is Bruce Wayne; he is an orphan; he is Batman; he is Dick’s guardian; he is a member of the Justice League; he is in love with Clark Kent; Clark is in love with him.
And for a while, that's enough. But he can't shake the feeling that maybe this isn't the best reality. That Clark would be better with Lois. And so when option presents itself, Bruce makes an executive decision. He ends things.
Clark knows one thing: sometimes, things end, and you can't stop them ending. And all you can do is pick up the pieces that are left, look to tomorrow, do the best what you have, and not lose hope.
And Dick? Dick knows that all of this really sucks. But you always have to have hope.

Summary
Twelve hours of a Christmas morning in Gotham: Bruce foregoes sleep and grapples with change, Clark navigates Christmas at Wayne Manor and his boyfriend's emotional distance, and Dick gets the best presents. Also: Ma and Pa Kent and Alfred are the greatest.
Dick would have told Bruce to turn in, call it a night. But he wasn’t planning on sleeping tonight anyway. Like his father had, he’d stay up, on-call through the night, just in case anyone in Gotham needed him, and when he did get back home, he’d have stockings to stuff, presents to unload, and Alfred’s cookies to eat.
And, with his luck and his current guests, he’d probably finish all of that just before the sun rose, with hardly enough time to spare before everyone else was awake.
That was fine. He’d gone without sleep for worse reasons.

Summary
Bruce quietly breaks down in the Kents' bathroom in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner, and Clark comes to talk.
Bruce didn’t like many people, but he liked the Kents. With them, he was able to be himself, and, so far from Gotham, he had no reason to be anyone else. There were no secrets at the Kent farm. There was no need for secrets.
Except today, he was holding tight to one secret that he couldn’t speak. And it was like a fog, transforming a warm sunny day into a swamp.
The Kents were warm, and sweet, and comforting. The air was full of pumpkin pie spice and stuffing herbs and gravy.
And Bruce was choking on it.
But he couldn’t tell them that.
Not now, when they were sitting down around a table draped with an orange-and-brown-leafed cloth, and Clark was passing Bruce an orange casserole dish full of something that perhaps was once a healthy side of green beans, but had been transformed into a cardiologist’s nightmare.

This fandom is tbh dead to me, but (a) the Rabastan that appears within was based on my first real fandom creation, and (b) this author's dedication to this work has been truly impressive, with as much attention to the craft and editing as would've been given to a work meant for publication. I've seen the process while working alongside on my own original manuscript, and you are in for a real treat.
RIYL: complex characterization, attention to friendships that are as meaningful and messy and deep as any romance, found family tropes, and moments of levity in a dark universe

Summary
Jason Todd is seriously injured during patrol one night, and is forced to stay at the manor to recuperate until his injuries are healed. To pass the time, he makes a list of things he never got to do before he died.
Except there's one small problem: most of them involve Bruce, and Jason doesn't really think Bruce cares all that much about him anymore.This is a story about how wrong he is, but I made it sad anyway.
