They shut it quite fast. Even poor Sakura, who was gearing to ask for another bowl while the blond’s attention was elsewhere.
“But still,” Naruto murmured under his breath.
Kakashi took a deep breath, asking the gods for patience. There's plenty of other things he'd better wish for, but at that moment that's the only thing in his mind.
“What was that?”
Naruto crossed his arms, turning his head away like a petulant kid holding on to their secret desire after being denied, "Nothing.”
“Share with the class, Naruto.”
"No."
"I will buy you another bowl of ram-"
“I said I was going to talk with the pot weirdo tomorrow” Naruto blurted out, empty bowl high in the air as he asked for another. Sasuke, on Sakura’s other side, petulantly parroted for both hers and his.
Well. With this team Kakashi has to farm teamwork from the unlikeliest places. On most days he’s just glad all three are still breathing.
Or: Naruto just wants to befriend Gaara, why was everyone acting like was about to die?

“Because you destroyed my village!” Zabuza yelled, irritated, and since Yagura wasn't a lousy brat but the very source of his life problems, the missing nin restarted his attacks.
The mizukage yawned in the middle of his dodges, “details.”

“No, Sakura, it's not,” Kakashi denied, looking around with clear distrust.
The sensei’s words brought tension to the genins in the room, who all at once teamed up with their teams and leaders, kunais, shurikens or one of their own jutsus at ready.

Gaara tilts his head, narrowing his eyes like he needed help to see past something blurry; the soft, barely-there blush in his cheek speaking of a few too many drinks taken, “Lee was here, but I doubt he'll come back for the time being.”
The Kazekage's eyes go back to the fight, focusing on the green figure dashing around the battlefield. Iruka ignores the urge to slap his forehead as Tenten, sporting an noticeable blush due to blatant intoxication, starts to throw her many, many, deadly weapons at the blurry green and pink that are her teammate and Sakura, both having engaged in a taijutsu spar after kick-rocketing away each of their opponents.
Or: Kiba manages to get everyone drunk, Sakura and Naruto successfully starts a brawl fight, and Iruka is having a mild midlife crisis.

Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.
AKA, Hiccup forfeited the final challenge, leaving Astrid with the right to kill the Nightmare. Story picks up in the Race to the Edge era, except Berk never learned the truth of dragons, no one knows how Hiccup really lost his leg, and stories of a hooded 'vigilante' riding a Night Fury have been long whispered...and Berk will see it all unfold.
