“Hi,” the figure said, and it was only when she heard the the person's voice did her conviction falter. It was soft and decidedly female, but there was an inevitable tone of cautiousness that could only belong to that of a kid. There was no maliciousness in it either; just simple anxiousness. Like they'd broken into a bystanders house instead of legally entering a suspected dealer's lab.
"Hello,” Caitlyn replied calmly, lowering her hand away from her rifle. "Do you live here?” she asks carefully. There were no reports Signed was suspected to have an accomplice.
“...Yes,” the other responded, and maybe if she'd known what would happen in that room, she would have made more of an effort to immediately restrain the girl. Then again, she had no idea just how bad of a turn things would get otherwise.
OR: Deputy Vi, Sheriff Caitlyn, and the rest of their specialized team are saddled with investigating Noxus-related dealings in Zaun, all while the redhead continues her search for her still-missing sister.
Both missions are unrelated. Until they aren't.

Isha began to cry, ugly gasping sobs that ended in pained groans. Sevika seemed to know something she didn’t. She was scared. Her mama was in there. Hurry! She wanted to scream. The monsters are getting her again! You have to hurry! They hurt her!

In her hand the letter is written in some formal script informing her that she has been selected for a special honor for her bravery and commitment to the people of Piltover. There’s a ceremony and a promotion and some other kind words that are more difficult to see. Her throat aches and her arm throbs. Twin hurts that make her desperate for anything to take the edge off. No matter how much she reminds herself that she’s a fighter. A survivor. She can weather the storm. But when you’ve felt the safety of shore, the sea is so much more terrifying no matter how confident you are you can swim across it.
The Enforcers decide to give out medals post-final battle.

Summary
When Lucifer tricked Amenadiel into allowing him to stay in Los Angeles in 2011, it caused upheaval in Heaven. Michael, already secretly living on the East Coast for more than a decade, was recalled to Heaven to sit at their Father's right hand as they worked out the governance of Hell and what to do with Lucifer. Before anything was settled, however, their Father released him back to Earth in December 2015. Drawn to Los Angeles after watching it in Lucifer's life for almost five years, he moved there.
It's February 2018, and Michael hasn't made a single attempt to track down Lucifer or get any update on his life, content to just exist peacefully and solitarily as he did in Boston and Baltimore. Following an erroneous page at work, however, Dr Demiurgos finds that his twin’s life has changed exponentially in the last two years, the Devil can be loved, and their Father may not be as benevolent as he'd always assumed.

Summary
I began writing Reprise in November 2015, after having a hankering for a good time travel AU and then being unable to find one that fit my niche craving. I wrote chapters 1 through 3 as a casual experiment, a kind of character study of Ben Kenobi.

Summary
This series explores two intertwined narratives: the adventures of time-traveling Obi-Wan and the reactions from the core, particularly the Jedi. It presents a Jedi-positive perspective but challenges the traditional notion of Jedi training. The series questions the importance of time in training versus the impact of experiences on a Jedi's potency. Drawing on examples from Legends, canon, and games, I posit that the skills of a Jedi could be taught to adults/teenagers in a relatively short time. It’s the mastery of self that would take the most time, and ultimately why the late-modern Republic’s Jedi training started with children.

“Oh,” Jinx says knowingly, glancing Vi’s way out of the corner of her eye. “That’s the, uh, the cop girl, right? Maddie’s ex?”
A chorus of mutters and nods is the response.
“I’m being warned about her,” Vi tells her sister and Jinx blows her bangs out of her face.
“Good,” she says, almost snappishly. “Yeah, don’t date cop girl. You should date someone cool.”
“I’m not going to date anyone, not for a while. I need to get back on my feet first,” says Vi, drumming her fingers against the condensation of the glass. Thinking of Cupcake in her contacts, and that teasing smile.
Everything in Vi’s life right now is starting over. She’s spending the holidays on her sister’s pull-out futon, trying to make sense of the avalanche of changes, salvage what’s left of her family and figure out what she’s going to do next. The last thing she expects to do is include the beautiful woman she runs into on her first day in town, or this Caitlyn that everyone’s warning her to stay away from.
