Ever since Riyo had been adopted into HQ, she wasn't taking it well. Being without blood for months was slowly driving her insane. She didn't understand why… Why did they decided to save her from the Hell Guards before they executed her? It just didn't make sense. There had to be some underlying motive, something they weren't telling her, and the longer she went without finding it, the more it ate away at her.

He shuffled his way through the HQ, taking the less rowdy path that led by Semiu's office. Semiu called out to Zanka, though he barely registered it, his mind cloudy. It wasn't until she called his name again that he looked up. “Zanka, are you okay? Seem a little ditzy around the heels.”
Zanka tried to seem as normal to his superior as possible. Trying to stand upright, but it felt like his body was physically trying to force him down.. Down to the coldest surface available, which right now was the floor. Instead, Zanka leaned heavily against the hallway frame. He tried to speak, but his words blurred together. “Pretta fine… jus' super exhaush'ed…” He rubbed at his face, blinking heavily. “Need some sleep, tha's all.”
Semiu looked rather unimpressed with him. Guessing the male had once again worked himself into an early grave.
It wasn't exactly uncommon.

Zanka blinked. He looked down at his hands. Then back at Rudo. Then to his hands again, and blinked once more. “My chopsticks?” He waved them a little to make it clear. Then, suddenly remembering the dumpling he was holding, popped it in his mouth.
“Yeah. Those. Why are you using them?”
“Why am I- “ Zanka started. He then remembered he was raised with a modicum of manners and swallowed before continuing. “What does it look like I'm using them for?”

Zanka eyes Enjin warily, then shakes his head. “Wha’s hap’nin’?”.
“You apparently had a pretty nasty situation going on in your mouth there”. Enjin waves his hands around as he explained. “Had to take out some troublesome teeth before it got any worse. Wisdom teeth I think they’re called. It’s rare but it happens. Eisha handled a lot of it, you can ask her later”.
But Zanka had stopped listening midway through his team leader sentence. His teeth? They’d taken his teeth. He narrowed his eyes in concentration as he moved his tongue to swipe over his pearly whites but found he couldn’t feel anything.
Oh god they’d stolen his teeth.
