Summary
"Maybe it's the effects of a curio," Yingxing crouches down. He ruffles Yanqing's (Jing Yuan's) hair. Yanqing tries not to glare at him. Close-up, his eyes are a startling blue. It's impossible to imagine Ren's face this soft and unweathered. There's a scar on his chin, too, something the curse of Yaoshi must have eventually healed over.
"A curio to swap Jing Yuan's consciousness with this random kid here?" Jingliu says.
"Possibly." Yingxing pokes his cheek. "How old are you?"
Yanqing doesn't reply.Yanqing, 700 years in the past: Jing Yuan... missing?

“So… you're going to send me on a suicide mission…?”
Chevreuse sighed, and crashed back onto her chair. “No, not a suicide mission. Obviously not. I just need you to find her, lead her to us, and have us capture her. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“You're strong, Clorinde. Even if her, and her goons attack you, you can fend them off. I believe in you. So, please…” She begged, staring up at her with dull eyes. “...Just… help me.”
Clorinde really couldn't say no, could she?
“Fine. Fine. But… you have to promise me that, once I finish the job, you'll never ask such a thing from me again, deal?”
Chevreuse gave her a small smile, extending a hand for Clorinde to take.
“Deal.”
An exhausted Clorinde is tasked with hunting down the new leader of a gang previously thought to be dead: The Spina Di Rosula.
She could have never expected the leader everyone described to be murderous, cold, and cruel to be the friend that lead her through the darkness all those years ago.

“It’s… not possible for you to be here,” Aventurine gulps, his eyes wide, “Did Acheron also send you here?”
You shake your head. “No. But God did.”
“’God’…?”
Inside the black hole, what awaits Aventurine is not anyone… but you; the slithery, dead-eyed Dreamweaver whom he encountered a couple of times back in Penacony.
Despite the emptiness in your eyes, he always feels like you can see way past through him—and even further, to universes of the past and the future that simultaneously happen at the same time.

Summary
For Beidou, it’s all just the same as every other job, except her cargo is human. Well, until the boy opens his mouth and she starts to feel things she never has before.
She’s not mother material. Hasn’t ever wanted to be a mother. Didn’t even consider it. But the universe knows better, and she finds herself every bit the mother she never thought she’d be.
Now, if only there was a way to explain this to Ningguang that wouldn’t result in mocking laughter and a great deal of smugness.
