He freezes at the touch, muscles tensing immediately. A soft chuff sounds out in response and he hates that it makes him feel calmer. A strangled whine slips out of his mouth. Immediately he’s met with more of those comforting chuffs, and Tommy feels his body start to relax despite himself.
Then, the person holding him speaks up, “Shush, Theseus. You’re safe now.”
The words ring in Tommy’s ears, and a pleading, begging sound leaves his mouth. Because it's Techno who’s holding him. Techno that’s cradling him like he’s the most precious thing in the world. His dad that’s comforting him. And this fact is all it takes to break him completely.

Set after Dream blows up Logstedshire. But instead of Tommy building the tower, he instead suffers through a late presentation as an avian hybrid. Tommy, terrified of how Dream will react and half-delirious from blood loss, runs away to Technoblade's cabin. Dark fluff ensues.

"Uses the air currents like feelers, I think," Dream's breath was coming heavier as he carried on running. "Gets an idea of where things are in relation to him. He doesn't always get it right, sometimes there are cracks in things big enough to feel like an escape route and he slams into a wall. Or he doesn't angle close enough to the ground and trips on things. He's uh-" Dream flipped the communicator around, and Techno blinked as Bad flew through the air, screeching the whole way. "He's slippery."

It didn’t take long for the heavy thumbing of large paws on the ground to reach the pup’s ears, and whoever it was crashed through the underbrush like a fucking bear.
There was a deafening growl, one that shook Tommy to the bone.
A blur of reds and mahogany streaked passed him, but the figure only paused for a moment before he rounded on the golden wolf. Tommy had barely managed to dodge Techno’s first lunge. There was no way he’d be able to do it again.
Or, Tommy is a werewolf pup that moves to a new town and unfortunately catches the eyes of the werewolf pack that runs it.
