Summary
One year after the disappearance of Rachel Amber, Nathan Prescott invites several to his fellow classmates to one of the Prescotts many estates, this one located in a remote area of the mountains. Among this seemingly random group of party guests is Max Caulfield, the only one wondering why Nathan invited them up there. Complicating matters is the inclusion of Chloe Price, Max's best friend whom she hasn't seen in over four years. The unresolved animosity between them becomes more palpable as the night wears on. However, their carefree weekend is cut short by a disappearance, followed by a murder. It soon becomes clear that someone is targeting the terrified teens. Cut off from the rest of the world by a snow storm, what was meant to be a peaceful vacation turns into a horrifying fight for survival against unknown forces.

Warning: This is me ruining the ending of Firewatch. As a writer, I have to say this, because the end of Firewatch is perfect in its ambiguity. Delilah is never meant to be anything more than a representation of the fact you can’t run away from your problems, and after the initial shock of the ending I was actually really pleased with that fact. However, I am a romantic sap, and I can’t leave it there. This is for me and for anyone else who just can’t let it go, despite knowing we really should.

Summary
Two years have passed since five students barely escaped Leafmore Highschool with their lives from a virus that causes people to mutate into spore monsters, now the survivors have been accepted into separate colleges and are about to leave to start their education in said colleges, all except Shannon Matthews who isn't sure which college to head to, meanwhile her older brother Kenny Matthews and his friend & Shannons Boyfriend Stan Jones head to the small town of Fallcreek to begin college there.
However, when Shannon discovers that the same plant that attacked her and her friends five years ago is being used as a drug at Fallcreek, she heads there to warn her brother and boyfriend of the danger, however, what she gets instead is a fight for survival against a horde of infected students and residents of Fallcreek.
Now Shannon, Kenny, Stan & five other students at Fallcreek, average guy Corey Wilde, foreign student Sven Hansen, rich girl Amy Brookes & sisters Mei & Jun Wang must fight to stop the new strain of virus from spreading outside of Fallcreek and destroy it once and for all.
