Summary
Gabriel knows Aziraphale has been in love with Crowley since forever. Desperate to get revenge on the angel who escaped punishment after the failed apocalypse, Gabriel decides that the best way to make Aziraphale miserable is to use a love potion and force Crowley to fall in love temporarily so the archangel can sit back and enjoy the fallout when it wears off. Except, nothing changes and the demon isn't acting any different. If at first you don't succeed, conspire with the Prince of Hell and use a stronger potion.
In which Gabriel and Beelzebub scheme, Anathema meddles, Crowley and Aziraphale are oblivious, the bookshop is becoming a sorted pickup joint, and no one knows when to give up.

This is a piece commissioned under the Fandom Cares BLM auctions run on Tumblr in June 2020, for a Good Omens/Robin Hood women-loving-women crossover fic. Thank you to ExMarks for bidding! I had a lot of fun with this.
So this request came at a strangely perfect time: just as I was planning some original wlw Robin Hood fiction myself! I actually did extensive research on the character a few years ago (which is why this fic is so long— it was really fun to pick and choose what might go with Good Omens). Obviously, you don’t have to do research in order to write Robin Hood fics, I just did it because I wanted to.
But please enjoy a romp through Sherwood with a plot taken partly from Robin Hood sources dating back as far as the Middle Ages! And look, I've dumped the whole fic at once. I'm not making you all wait this time. <3

The ratings for fics can vary wildly with the sort of casual macabre elements of the film and the swearing and alcohol abuse present in the series/book, as well as contain some very explicit sexual content. Please mind the tags and feel free to skip fics if they don't seem up your alley or to contact one of us if you would like clarification.
And yes most of the fics are tagged with "demisexual". We wrote both Aziraphale and Crowley that way. People/characters on the Ace spectrum can and do have loving and fulfilling sex lives and deserve to be represented.

Summary
There were all these little hopes and musings Crowley buried so deep in his heart it ached to bring them out into the light to catalogue their faults and flaws, and each time Aziraphale sought him out, or asked his opinion on some weighty manner that was hanging on him, or even just smiled, those little wishings grew bigger and bigger, pressing in on him until he felt as if he was being crushed.
“Princes do not fall in love with gardener boys,” he told himself one night, staring into the shard of looking glass he kept on a shelf, hoping it would help, hoping that hearing it out loud would make him believe it, would help him put all these ridiculous notions behind him.
It didn't work.
Crowley and Aziraphale, the gardener's boy and the prince, meet as children and develop an unlikely friendship.
By the time they're twenty, everything has changed.

When Crowley claims to be Aziraphale's husband to ruin what he assumes is a date, he doesn't think anything of it. But a day later it comes back to bite him in the ass when Crowley finds out that the date in question is, in fact, his new boss, who is looking to hire Aziraphale and hoping that Crowley, his husband, will put in a good word for them. Now Crowley is caught in a tight spot: either admit to his new boss that he was lying, or convince Aziraphale, his sort-of enemy, to pretend to be his husband to save face.

There was nothing more beautiful than the sun rising over the plains. Dawn bled like a cup of coffee spilling over the morning paper, arresting Crowley’s attention. He’d always pause his chores to mark the progression from grey to blue and brilliant orange, moving like a curtain up over a stage. As a child he’d believed God must have painted the sky over the stars each day, but the farmer had long since abandoned both faith and imagination. Instead he relied on more tangible tools, the ones that could reign in 160 acres of the Great American Desert. His homestead was his Eden and he fit it to his own design.
My take on the farmer/librarian trope (can't get enough of it), set in 1895 or thereabouts.
