This is a fix it fic.
You know how I usually treat canon as law? Yeah not this time.
Plan 99 is they go all out to save their brothers not sacrifice themselves. So basically Crosshair gets rescued but when you've been an Imperial Sniper whose done bad things and been tortured, life isnt smooth sailing even if you wake up on a tropical island. This fic is basically about Crosshair finding himself and I got not idea how big it will be but we're gonna find out together. -

Summary
Crosshair wakes up in the past shortly before meeting Mayday for the "first time". He kills Lieutenant Nolan almost immediately, rather than risk any of them dying again.
Crosshair, along with Mayday and his team, and the five other clones on Nolan's ship, run away to freedom with no plan and only what they can steal. Crosshair contacts the Bad Batch and hopes that they will eventually call him back and help his new team.

Omega thought back to something Echo had said; it’s up to you to decide whether a soldier dies in vain.
According to him, it was a common saying amongst regs. Joining Rex, that was him making sure his brother Fives hadn’t died in vain.
Tech’s last mission had been to rescue Crosshair, and here she was, just a stone’s throw away from their lost brother. Tech didn’t have to die in vain either, Omega realized.
She stood up on wobbly, aching legs, wiping her face with the back of her hand. She could grieve once she left this place; for now, she was going to fulfill Tech’s final mission.

Summary
The annoyance in Crosshair’s expression shifted to one of pinched anxiety, and Omega could feel the guilt hidden behind his stony facade. Guilt for what he had nearly done to his brothers time and time again while under the control of the chip. Fear that, even with the chip gone, he might try to do something to them again if he was left in such close proximity when they were all so vulnerable.
A small part of Omega wondered if one of the reasons Crosshair pushed her away was to keep her well out of arm’s reach so he wouldn’t hurt her.
Crosshair is back, but he isn't sleeping. Omega has an idea of how to help, if only the sniper will let her.
