Izuku squeezes his hand in comfort. “I’m here,” is all he says as he begins walking down the sidewalk again, Katsuki in tow.Katsuki's quirk is loud. Very loud. His repeated, close exposure to the high decibel output has done a number on his hearing. Izuku notices, as he notices most things when it comes to Katsuki.
Izuku views it just as a change, Katsuki views it as a flaw.
But, Izuku has altered Katsuki's perspective before. He can do it again.

Shaken by the unexpected vulnerability captured on paper, Katsuki becomes determined to find the unknown artist...
And he asks Mina for some help regarding the topic."Wait... Beautiful... sweetest...?", he opened wide eyes, before being cut out by hysteric laughter on the other end of the call.
“Should I post it?” she asked, voice vibrating with excitement. “I’m posting it!!” she yelled, not even waiting for his confirmation.
"DAMN IT, PINKY!" he roared, facepalming hard.
One second... two seconds...
“Holy shit.” Katsuki stared at Mina’s Instagram, already seeing shares and reactions piling up under the post.
“And now,” she declared proudly, “we let the magic do its thing!”

Katsuki’s breath caught in his throat. His hands itched under his gloves, yearning to touch Izuku, but his arms felt too heavy to lift. Keeping his gloves on, he could only imagine the chilled silk beneath his fingers while he tugged gently. The knot held tight, but he slid a finger under, right against Izuku’s throat.
Izuku’s throat bobbed with a hard swallow, and Katsuki felt completely undone, losing himself in Izuku in the middle of a crowded market. He twitched his finger, and the knot gave way, finally sliding looser.

He’s been doing this too damn long to be taken for a fool. If this is his plan, he’s thought of every possible outcome–good or bad.
“Good. Bakugou, Midoriya. You’ll be paired together for the event,” he says, his singular un-covered eye flicking from Katsuki to Izuku. “I need my best agents on the job.”
Statistically speaking, he was right.
The only problem with the plan, though, is that Katsuki and Izuku haven’t been paired for a mission since they had a minor miscommunication which quickly turned into a major problem. Katsuki has since flat out refused to be paired with Izuku on any stings or missions.
