Marinette is so convinced by Henri's gentlemen act and blinded by lingering feelings of resentment of the past that she believes everything he says and disregards her friends' claims completely.
Adrien knows he made a mistake when he chose not to help expose Lila. He's determined to not make that same mistake twice when Henri starts manipulating Marinette into turning on her friends.
