Summary

Diluc is raised unloved in the Fatui, loyal bloodhound of the head of the Fatui Harbingers, and the long-lost son of Mondstadt.
It changes a lot, but really the story remains largely the same. Two brothers, divided loyalties, and the watchful eyes of Celestia.

Kaeya only remembers the exact date because of the letter that greeted him when he arrived back at his townhouse in the city, sitting innocently on his front step.aka. Diluc dies, Kaeya learns how to live, and the Dawn Winery gains itself a ghost.

he remembers the snow, he remembers the sensation of wetness against his cheek as he lies on that blanket of white, and he remembers blood – dark, thick and his own.
diluc doesn’t know how he got there, or what came before. lord arlecchino tells him to imagine the axiom of infinity, with his life being the line of symmetry between two unending poles. death is the infinity that awaits him, on the right of the axis and to the left, is life before that memory. as far as she is concerned, diluc’s life began the moment his eyes opened, and he saw blood like an unmoving stream, blood like the red of his hair. diluc, for the most part, agrees.
