Although, looking a little closer at the stranger, Aether thinks he might start regretting that thought soon enough. They are androgynous in a, frankly, very attractive way. Their mischievous purple eyes curve up in laughter a bit, and Aether thinks this person just threw glitter on his brain the way the room seems to sparkle.
Or maybe that’s just one too many cups of coffee making him see things, and this is his final hurrah before his body finally gives out on him.

In his original plan, he was going to make sure the baby is fine and he would help him find his tribe. But before he could do anything, the baby’s tribe found them first and...
...they kind of invited Kaeya to their family?
Aka: Kaeya is tired of acting and wants to be himself without worrying that either Diluc or someone else will kill him. Thus he found himself a family full of supernatural creatures.

Diluc runs into Kaeya, delirious and severely injured by a rifthound in the woods of Wolvendom. Kaeya is in a pretty bad way and Diluc is unable to help much because of the corrupting nature of the injury. He’s going to have to wait and watch until the corrosion has run its course to tend to Kaeya or else neither of them will be strong enough to survive a night in the forest. But for Kaeya that might be too late.
