Rolling her head to the side, she sees Bob’s confused expression and clarifies, “Antonia was the woman who died in the vault.”
“Oh,” Bob says. “Oh, yeah, I remember you knew her.”
“I didn’t know her very well,” Yelena says, looking back at the light-polluted sky. “We really only met that one time, when my sister freed her. After that I had other stuff to do, you know, but I thought she was with other Widows, starting over. Doing something that wasn’t Valentina’s dirty work.”
