Cesar helps Mark escape his room by accident. Mark expects everything to go back the way it was, but the delusions linger, and suddenly he lost his mind. Even worse, he still feels trapped in that room, and words in the back of his head tell him that he was supposed to end it all with a bullet through his brain. But Mark knows isn't that easy. Not at all. Because death brings grief, and that will fall upon Cesar. And since that was true, Mark knows he'll be trapped forever.

“It’s not just that,” Guest says, but unlike Expendable, he is telling with his tone. It is just that, John thinks. “I suppose ‘m also worried about him.”
“He’s not the green witch,” Expendable responds. His tone ends high, like there is a joke there that makes sense. Guest laughs like it does make sense, and John squeezes his eyes tighter together and pretends like he never woke for their conversation to begin with. “He won’t die if we—like. Throw him in a bath.”
