The man was filthy. The beds of his nails were blackened with dirt. His pale hair was greasy and limp, his lips were dry and cracked, and his face was incredibly gaunt. He wore threadbare boxers and a tank top that hung loosely from his pallid and skeletal chest, and his feet were bare, the soles brown from walking on the street. He sat with Wyll's scratchy blanket clutched around his shoulders with one hand, and with the other he pressed the blade of a paring knife to Wyll's throat.
And so Wyll kept his eyes trained dutifully on the road.
Wyll goes for a late night drive to clear his head. Astarion needs to get as far away as possible — fast.

---Tav worries if she made the right decision, pushing Wyll to defy Mizora and risking everything in the process. When the devil herself appears at her door, she can't help but be tempted by unwise curiosity at the offer that's presented. Maybe Mizora is only here to try and stir trouble, to break the bonds of both love and friendship, but perhaps there's something that could be gained from it after all... If nothing else, it would certainly be an interesting addition to the pages of her diary.

That alone should have shattered Wyll's suspicions; a vampire could not stand in the sun. And yet, something about Astarion's presence gnawed at him, an unease that deepened the more he observed.
