Summary
Thorin encounters a particularly deadly flower while the Company travels through Mirkwood: one that releases a form of aphrodisiac pollen that may take days to burn out of his system, if it doesn't kill him first. To survive, he's going to need a partner.
Fortunately, he and Mistress Baggins have grown quite close.
Unfortunately, Thorin has decided not to pursue Bilbo any further until he can court her properly once the Mountain is reclaimed.
It would help if he had informed Bilbo of any of this, especially when an Elvish flower is doing its level best to kill him.

Summary
In the course of her adventures, Bilbo finds herself pregnant. Without an offer of marriage from Thorin, she returns to the Shire to raise the child with the help of her family.
The King Under the Mountain is heartbroken that Bilbo chooses to leave Erebor, but he cannot blame her. Not after he tried to kill her. There was a time when she would have proposed marriage, but that time is clearly past. If all he can have of her are her letters, then he will be grateful for the missives.
Getting these two to talk just might take divine intervention. Or the intervention of a particularly interested child.

“Oh, you think I’m pretty and fun?”
“God, yes, you asshole – your stupid gorgeous eyes and your stupid breathtaking smile, and –“
“Careful.” Keith reached up, pressing a finger to the tip of Lance’s nose. “It’s starting to sound like you might have a crush on me.”
“Oh, I can assure you,” Lance murmured, the laughter dying to a soft rumble in his chest. “It’s definitely not a crush.”Or:
In order to boost Lance's confidence before his date with Allura, Keith confesses he used to have a crush on Lance. He eventually learns that statement was true, just not in the way he had originally believed.- Language:

Summary
Lan Zhan is glaring at him. That's probably fair.
The last time they'd seen each other, Wei Ying had been digging through Lan Zhan's garbage. They'd made eye contact over the shredded bags, the week's trash scattered around him like stinky, oversized Lego.
Lan Zhan's eyes had been wide with horror, and Wei Ying's had been equally wide with feigned innocence. He'd reached out slowly, maintaining the eye contact, and then flipped over the food waste bin full of onion peel and carrot skin as a distraction and slunk off into the night. Probably not his finest moment.

“You said you write every day. For eighteen years?”
“...yes.”
“That’s stupid.”
“You-!”
“Waste of time, energy, emotions - an unnecessary distraction. I knew you were a romantic, but this is just ridiculous,” Rei spits, crossing the floor to lean into Kazuki’s face. “If your soulmate is alive, they probably just want you to quit writing to them! How unlucky for them that you never could take a fucking hint!”
--or--
Somehow, Rei had become partners with his soulmate.
