Summary
Kai is supposedly the elemental Master of Fire. His father, the King of Southward Ninjago is breathing down his neck trying to get him to unlock his abilities like his sister has. Wrapped up with his massive plate of royal duties, Kai's just about primed to blow. He finds relief in sneaking off to do normal teen things, like doing mediocre skate flips behind the market at some unholy hour. Kai's father is getting annoyed at all of Kai's little endeavors to the local village, Jamanakai Village. A bodyguard is in order. So what better than hiring someone who knows the area well?
Cole's father is fresh out of the hospital, and needs a pricey prosthetic leg. On top of that, he's drowning in debt from hospital bills. Unbeknownst to his father, he's taken up the job of an assassin. Small jobs, just to pay the bills. Going after cheating exes, or people who didn't pay their dues, it doesn't really phase the weirdly strong Cole Brookstone. Now he's getting news of a big job. Bigger than big, with the potential to pay off all his debt, and give his father the opportunity to open the dance studio of his dreams. He's probably just killing some C.E.O, right?

Summary
After his father’s arrest, Adrien goes silent. He has something to say, but can’t get the words out around people. They treat him differently–they are all walking around egg shells around him as if he might break (even more, that is). Carefully picking each word to say to him.
He hates it. Hates that the entire world knows. But it had to be done. Now both Paris and him are free of his father.
Thankfully, there’s Ladybug, who also feels bad and blames herself–after all she is the one who put his father into jail, that’s what she tells herself, anyway. Chat Noir is always disagreeing, telling her with the little voice he actually has left that it had to be done and now everyone is safe thanks to them.
But Chat Noir isn’t the same and Ladybug notices that. He doesn’t talk as much as he used to, and he always found words important.
She decides that it’s now save to reveal their identities. She thought Chat Noir would be happy.
He isn’t.
