Summary
Kirishima let out a soft sound as he thought, all quiet and distant like when he was drifting asleep, but still trying to carry on a conversation. He did that a lot, talked himself to sleep. Bakugou chased away the realization that he wouldn't hear Kirishima mumble incoherently again after this, half asleep and tangled together under the blankets.
"I hope you'd say yes."
"I would." His voice wobbled and Kirishima smiled. "Ei, I would."

“Hey, I didn’t know you had a sister!”
Kirishima stared at the wall of family photos. He took in every detail of the house as he entered, and though Bakugo didn’t want to admit it, Kirishima knew it was a big deal to invite him over. No one else had ever been to his house before, besides Midoriya but he didn’t really count. The wall all documented Bakugo’s family and their lives, from wedding photos, baby photos, and first days of school. He saw Bakugo’s parents, rarely changed from their younger years, and Bakugo’s sister but none of Bakugo himself. It made sense, Kirishima barely had any baby pictures of him, by the time his parents had him they were tired of taking photos or too busy raising him and his three older brothers. But Bakugo’s parents seemed like the type to document everything, more likely Kirishima thought, Bakugo simply didn’t want his picture taken.
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Bakugo demanded, walking up next to him.

Summary
Katsuki doesn’t say anything else, mainly because he’s afraid that if he does it will only make Kirishima feel bad. Instead, he wiggles his way out of the redhead's hold—which is surprisingly easy to do, deep down he might have thought that Kirishima would try to keep him there, trap him like he’s been trapped so many times before, trap him like he deserves to be trapped. But Kirishima is too nice to pull shit like that on his own—and he walks away.
Away from Mina, Kamanri, and Sero who stare at him in confusion for a few seconds before turning to Kirishima in question. Away from the judging. Away from his boyfriend. Katsuki walks, and then he runs, and then he’s out of everyone’s sight.
OR, Bakugou is dealing with some Internalized Homophobia that was undoubtedly put there by his mother. Luckily, he has the BakuSquad around to support him in ways she couldn't. And he has Kirishima, who will love him in the ways he can't seem to love himself.
