‘You ever think about kids?’ Meetra asks. Her voice is light, casual, like she doesn’t mean anything by it because she doesn’t mean anything by it; it’s just a thought that came to mind, is all, and her tongue’s a little loose from both alcohol and the thrill of surviving yet another near-death encounter (mercenaries, again). The question came to mind so she asked it. She’s half expecting him to snort and throw out some sarcastic quip in response.
So when Atton immediately shakes his head, firmly, deliberately and says, ‘Never thought about it,’ it catches her off guard.

Summary
A Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic rock band AU.
Revanchist (Revan, Alek, Meetra and HK) were rock royalty until a falling-out between Revan and Alek split the band. Meetra recruits one Atton Rand (an ex-Juilliard concert pianist masquerading as a rocker) to replace their missing guitarist, forming The Malak Mistake. Alek is predictably Not Impressed and things... devolve. Not that they started anywhere particularly great to begin with.

Summary
Light Side male exile Jax Surik, obliviously bi disaster Atton Rand, a whole heap of warm fuzzy feelings and the occasional found-family antics that result from packing a small freighter full of lost Force Sensitives, quirky droids and a grizzled Mandalorian who's too old for this shit. Also, the odd bit of gay porn. And occasionally some angst, because I can't write anything so wholesome without people suffering at some point.

Summary
Take one anime and manga series based around children's card games. Add one bored writer with a love of Reality Ensuing and hazy memories of the awful OCs created when we were all too young to know any better. Stir in a heaped dose of actions carrying consequences, a lifetime of unresolved issues and an apparent love of watching characters suffer, then shake until blended smoothly.
The non-wanky version: a blend of anime (sub) and manga verses plus one OC twin sister, five non-canon precursor relics, and a heaping pile of poor decision-making. The focus is mostly on the Doma crew and the Mutous but everyone gets some screentime throughout. Strong warnings on almost everything for abuse, trauma, violence (both implied and explicit) and Season 4 levels of suffering. Written for nobody but myself because projecting suffering onto fictional characters is much cheaper than therapy and serves as excellent practice/experimentation grounds for non-fanfic writing.

By an old Republic law, all members of the Jedi High Council are senators in the Galactic Senate, and can thus be voted in as chancellor. A Senator from a less prominent planet has had enough of Chancellor Palpatine's incompetence and calls for a Vote of No-Confidence and the installation of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
This one action becomes the catalyst that changes the direction of the galaxy.

A regularly scheduled nightmare is interrupted by a pazaak match, and both players discover that some old mental patterns are no longer functioning quite as they used to.
This originally wanted to be purer PWP but then insisted on growing more substance and getting character-studyish.
