There’s something wrong with Dick.
Tim thought everything was getting back to normal. Bruce was alive and back in their timeline, the Birds of Prey were once again operating out of Gotham, Dick had the city well under control as Batman and even Damian had been less obnoxious than usual.
And then during a firefight at a warehouse by the docks, Tim was almost hit by a flying boomerang. And Dick never noticed.
When something is wrong with your big brother, who else do you turn to but your big sisters?

im literally so obsessed with time loops and time travel fics and i LOOOVE how this one is outside pov, of everyone else seeing the effects of someone going through a time loop over and over and how it changes them, but they dont know why. so good.
poor miles.... poor everyone trying to reach out to him, to find their miles who is long gone. what i wouldnt give to have 50k of just every loop miles has gone through and his final one, where everyone frantically tries to piece things together before they lose him

near tears rn this is everything i ever wanted from a post-btsv fic. miguel being regretful and always making mistakes and still trying anyways, the other kids being so sweet and protective, peter being awkward but sincere and how everyone wants to make things better. and miles!!! the way miles is written.... reverted back to a younger version of him that still has hope and joy and doesn't know the pain of betrayal and isolation. that forgetting, and unbecoming, is a kind of death that no one is prepared to face....
devastated in the best possible way by this fic. forever reread <3

So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

“I don’t see your name written over the walls, Drake.”
“I never said it was.” Tim pulls out a cup and places it on the counter. Squints, through the dark, at the right buttons to press on the Keurig. “Go to sleep.”
“No,” Damian says. “Get out.”
“Don’t see your name written over the walls.”
Or, Tim's sleeping schedule leaves things to be desired. Sometimes, Damian's does too.
Miraculously, this doesn't cause nearly as many issues as one would think.

All Tim wants is a cup of coffee, but his dear brother Dick insists on dragging him along to hunt a murderous and elusive Mothman that he claims is haunting Gotham City, specifically Crime Alley.
Tim doubts it’s really Mothman, seeing as West Virginia is very, very far away. But he gets sucked into the mystery all the same, because saying no to a determined Dick Grayson is about as easy as eating a chair with a pair of chopsticks. And besides, he's always been a sucker for a good conspiracy theory.
Alternatively: Mothman with a gun. Mothman take me by the gun? GlockMan? I think I’m losing it.

“Todd,” Damian calls and when he gets no answer from Jason, he whimpers, “Drake.”
“I can't believe I'm saying this but he’s breaking my heart, dude."
“Shut up, don’t give in. It’s a trap.” Jason says. “It’s a trap —”
They lose both the battle and the war when Damian stops waiting for them and instead stumbles forward, almost drunkenly, and unceremoniously flops himself on Jason’s front, full-on crying against his chest.
“Jesus fuck, Baby-bat. Who do I have to kill?”
(Or the one where Jason and Tim come to the Manor on the early hours of the day after a long night of patrol and they find weird new kind of life form out of this world that cries with snot and all inside the Manor. It takes them some time, because they are both dumbasses, to convince themselves that's actually their little brother crying his eyes out.)
