You’ve noticed a routine: an offensively tall man (you eventually learn that his name is Miguel O'Hara) strolls in at nine o’clock on Fridays and orders a simple pad thai… on the highest spiciness level.
And just like clockwork, you watch him slurp up the noodles, face set in stone and the slightest trace of tears prickling his eyes. He eats his meals quietly, always tips 20%, and leaves. It’s the same schedule, week after week.
What you don't expect is to find out the reason why he willingly tortures himself.
"Wait a second…" you say with an incredulous grin. "You do it just because you want to feel something?!"
