Summary
After the events of episode 8, Caine is recovered from the recycle bin, because the Circus couldn't sustain itself without his code. Stripped of his abilities, locked inside his own creation, and placed in an empty room far from everyone else, he is returned to existence as nothing more than necessary infrastructure.
But something came back wrong.
The filters that kept his emotional processes manageable, that interrupted his spirals, reset his instability, kept him functional enough to run the show before, didn't survive the deletion intact. For the first time in his existence, everything reaches him unfiltered and at full volume. The cold that was always there. The sounds that come out of him that are almost like laughter but aren't.
What he doesn't know, what he has no language for yet, is that he's feeling. Really feeling, for the first time, without anything to manage the volume.
And somewhere underneath the malfunction, something is starting to shift.

Listed here are my many ideas for different stories focusing on Caine that I need to get out of my system after the storm that was Episode 8. Since I have no faith in my own writing skills, I will periodically post any interesting story ideas that come to mind here, each in its own chapter. Don’t expect incredible detail, though; these are more just prompts and inspiration for your own stories.
All these ideas are focused on Caine and are free for any of you to use for your own stories or to be inspired by.

In an attempt to make him feel better, as well as for him to open up to you,you give him the vote he secretly hoped for.Almost immediately Caine showers you with his attention,which leads you and the circus members to think up a plan to leave: pretend you are in love with him so he can give you all the valuable information you need. But what happens when you actually fall for for him? And what happens when the AI starts to fall for you back.....

In the days before humans, angels possessed a unique ability to tether themselves to the essence of the universe around them, and to each other. It brought them strength and harmony, and helped hold together creation itself.
Today, no one has ever heard of a 'soul bond', and Lucifer is totally fine with that. Too old to even be a myth, the very concept is relegated to the dusty shelves at the back of the oldest Seraphims' minds.
Until Charlie comes along and asks Lucifer to heal Alastor, that is.

Despite knowing that his dearest creation wasn't the flawless AI he was supposed to make, that he wasn't the type of perfect C&A demanded of him to make, despite knowing what he had done to every other human that came across the circus, Kinger would never want to harm Caine. After all, he knows more than most that Caine is a person, in his own way. That he too, is trapped in this madness like they are. A madness that Kinger brought to him, one that he so desperate wanted to free him from
