His Royal Highness, Prince Henry of Wales is on his massage table, innocently praising his massage techniques—if he sounds like a fucking pornstar doing it, that's all on Alex. Stripped of context, most massage-induced moans could probably be passed off as something a lot more explicit—it’s just that he’s already on his metaphorical knees for this man, and he’s so beautiful, and he’s giving him so much—the moans have been continuous for a while, and now, so are the words, and his praise kink is rearing its ugly head to the point where his head is getting just a little bit cloudy—and the dimmed lights completely erase any clinical atmosphere—it’s all so cozy, and so warm, and so… pornographic.

Summary
In the sci-fi smash-hit movie Binary Light, Dev Creehil (played by Alex Claremont-Diaz) and Qindeli (played by Henry Fox) go from enemies to reluctant allies to friends. While a legion of on-line fans believe that arc should have included a ‘to lovers’ at the end, the behind the scenes truth is that the lead actors stayed firmly enemies to enemies throughout filming.
Fresh off a brutal breakup, Alex is back for the sequel and back to dealing with Henry—the asshole Hollywood nepo baby who has failed to conceal his disdain for Alex ever since their first chemistry read. In the script the shippers will finally be getting what they’ve always wanted, but, as some of Henry’s ice begins to thaw, what Alex wants has become decidedly more confusing.

But when he suddenly swaps in the middle of a rooftop chase and finds himself caught up in a deadly game of cat and mouse, he quickly discovers how far he's willing to go to save his soulmate's life.)

Three weeks before Henry Fox's tour for his fourth, highly anticipated, awards-bait novel A Brief War in December begins, his publicist Janella breaks her foot on a bunny slope at Windham.
Alex can't be mad at her, even though he kind of is. Saying it out loud would be like kicking her when she was down, and she already went down a literal mountain in the worst way possible.
Now crammed in Rafael Luna's corner office, Janella is shooting Alex extremely apologetic looks while slumped on her crutches, wearing a bright orange cast. The conversation about who is going to be joining Henry Fox on his multi-city trek across the U.S. is also going downhill. Alex is feeling the same sort of free fall while standing still.
Because out of all the publicists available in their tiny underfunded department, the only one left to escort their company's best-selling author is regrettably him.
The problem is, well, Alex absolutely hates Henry Fox.
Or: Alex is the publicist for Mountchristen Publishers, and is stuck on a two-week tour with their best-selling, but frustrating, author Henry Fox.
