Summary
Elphaba and Fiyero failed to survive that day in Kiamo Ko, but the spell she placed on him would not allow him to die. He returned to his life as a charming prince, years before any pain when life was bliss. Determined, and not insignificantly traumatized, Fiyero Tigelaar would use his second chance to achieve what needed to be done for the good of all.
Whether it was through political upheaval, exposure of his crimes, or assassination, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz had to be destroyed.

Eleven years later, Draco Black was ready to establish himself at Hogwarts. It would have been difficult enough without the legacy of his father hanging over him, but Draco would soon stumble upon a potential vampire threat, the mystery of whatever Dumbledore was hiding on the third corridor, and a teaching staff that seemed determined to keep him as far away from Harry Potter as possible.

If you were to ask Elphaba Thropp what she thought of Fiyero Tigelaar, she’d say she never really knew Shiz’s new Student Council President all that well – but he seemed nice enough. No, she was not salty that she lost in the elections to him by just a few votes. Yes, she was satisfied with her position as Vice President.
And yet, when hundreds of letters — addressed mostly to Fiyero (and a few unfortunate others) are delivered at his doorstep, containing all of her unfiltered frustration and pointed observations, Elphaba’s perfect, ‘role-model student’ persona starts to crumble.
