But I was not content to simply roll over and die even though God dealt me a shitty hand just like he had when I was alive. I am a strategist, a chess player at heart, and I would need pieces on the board to ensure my survival. And this strange deer demon named Alastor would do just fine as the queen in my games. I just needed to get him on a leash first.
