The Spider-Men are upholding the tradition of splitting a pie from Eddie’s when patrol dies down. It’s a Friday night, he’s meeting up with Ganke later to be the first tester of his Speed Nonagon sequel, and Hailey invited him to check out her exhibit at Coney Island tomorrow. Life is good. So of course Tommy Jenkins would infringe by unwittingly questioning his spider privileges.
Peter drags another slice up and out from the pie, snapping the long, connecting string of cheese with a firm tug. “Ugh, I knew you guys had an unhealthy disdain for Newton. Never let it be said that gravity’s not an emotional force just as much as it’s an emergent one.”

General Kenobi stood, two hands gripping his still ignited lightsaber in an offensive stance, staring down at the corpse with an expression Cody already wished he’d never seen. The blue blade hissed back into its hilt as Kenobi dropped weakly to his knees and gently picked up the torso of the child he had just slain.

Perhaps he shouldn’t have been surprised when Rik nodded heavily, but he was. Shocked to his very core.

Only most of them don’t have good reasons like we do..."Too soon after the hell that was Umbara, Rex's only surviving batchmate admits to mercy-killing a Jedi general, thrusting Rex into a desperate struggle against his conscience—a struggle that threatens to drive a stake between his friendship with Fives and destroy everything he once thought to be right.

He tried to clip his bucket to his belt, but his fingers felt wooden and he missed the clasp so he let it clatter to the ground. Hunter started at the sharp crack of plastoid on metal. Rex didn’t flinch, and neither did Echo.
“What?” asked Hunter, looking between the two of them. “What’s wrong?” Neither of them answered.
“Fives?” Echo rasped finally, stepping forward.

Having met up with Rex and Ahsoka after the fall of the Republic, the Bad Batch and Echo have just one goal: survive. Fives also has one goal - remember who he is.
Together, they have another: save the GAR, or die trying.

Cody’s heard the whispers, the rumors, the tall-tales. He does his best to ignore them, to act as if they have no bearing on him, that they have nothing to do with the electric thrum of excitement in the air. Maybe the vode are worked up over upcoming leave, or the recent victories in the War.
It’s been getting harder to lie to himself as the stories spread - when he walks into the mess and the whole room goes dead quiet, he turns right back around and leaves, stomach churning too much to eat. It really starts getting hard to deny when shinies start coming up to him. They salute for too long, stutter over their words, and make Cody’s heart hurt with just how damn young they are, but they all ask the same question.

Both Mandalore and the Republic are devastated by a century of war with one another. When the Mand'alor, Jango Fett, comes forwards with a peace treaty, both sides agree to do anything to make it work despite the odds stacked against them. Even if that means they each must exchange something dear to them as a promise they will not break the truce.
As little as a year ago, Cody and Ahsoka wouldn't have been able to comprehend finding themselves in each other's world, let alone making friends with their greatest enemy or trying to integrate themselves into an alien culture. Now their very lives depend on it.
