Summary

Please don't actually watch Witchville!! It's a horrible movie with a plot that makes no sense, wooden acting and terrible special effects.
In short: Greypaws and I watched this movie because the actress who plays Jozefa has become famous in The Witcher. We were horrified by its quality, but couldn't resist trying to write a fix-it. We made it gay and tried to improve the horrible plot a little.
In this fic, there is no weird heterosexual relationship that pops up out of the blue, there are lesbians instead, the cool archer lady lives, there is hurt/comfort and a healthy relationship for poor Jozefa (who desperately needs a hug)

Summary
Yennefer is a witcher of the school of the wolf, Tissaia is the resident sorceress of Rinde. Coral is a witcher of the school of the bear. Philippa lives in the court of the Redanian king, relatively close to Tissaia. She visits sometimes, to be a pest, if she isn’t making frequent trips to Skellige because of a certain witcher. Coral also comes to Rinde frequently for this reason. In this story, the witcher schools never shutdown down, and various characters are witchers instead of their canon roles. The events of the netflix show will still happen in one way or another.

The ranger lifted her chin in defiance. ‘I shall not.’
‘Then I challenge you to a duel.’
The words tumbled out of Sylvanas’ mouth before she was aware of them. Only after she became conscious of what she had said, she heard the shocked gasps of her fellow trainees. Yet she righted herself up, as tall and proud as she could be. She looked past her mother’s stern gaze, into Jaina’s eyes. They were filled with fright, and Sylvanas instantly felt a stab of sadness deep in her chest.
But she did not waver.
‘Tomorrow, when the Sun alights Belore’s crown,’ she spat.
(An AU where Sylvanas is a young, overeager ranger in training and Jaina is on a diplomatic mission in Silvermoon with her family)

Withering had many horrible aspects. The cold was one of the worst. A body that could barely keep itself warm, and the freezing nights in the underground sanctuary came unrelentingly. Once every two days or so, Valtrois didn’t dare to keep count, when she was scraping the very bottom of her mana reserves, everything intensified tenfold, driving her to the very edge of unconsciousness until the outlander brought a precious few mana crystals to Shal’aran.
(Thalyssra and valtrois keeping each other warm on one of the first nights in shal’aran.)
Mixed with my headcanons about withering, and just the need to vent a bit and write some angst and pain. I also needed practice with writing nightborne since I’m planning to write a long fic about them some day.

Btw, the dessert they’re eating is a mix of a traditional Dutch old years’ eve food called “oliebollen”, and mochi. I’m sure there are deep-fried doughballs with fillings in other cultures as well but these came to mind while thinking about a suitable food for this part.
