Humans were new to the galaxy.
New, but dangerous as showcased when they took out an entire fleet with one ship.
So when the crew of the SBI heard that there was a human kit planetside after having been taken by poachers, they left immediately.
Of course, the purpose was kind of defeated when they discovered that said human kit had wormed his way onboard anyway. And with one of the galaxy's most dangerous creatures no less.

"Are you aware Dream was spotted in the area? Just a couple of days ago, actually." Siren spoke so casually, as if he and Tommy were having a friendly discussion about the weather. Tommy, meanwhile, froze. His wings folded around him in an attempt to shield him from some nonexistent threat, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the alley for a sign of that dreaded porcelain mask. He was suddenly extra grateful for his goggles, they hid his terrified eyes from the Siren's glare.
No, Dream wouldn't.. they specifically chose to hide in the poorer districts, they were safe- Dream can't find them here-
That's what they had thought, yet Dream was here.
TLDR; Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo are vigilantes on the run, whilst accidentally making friends with the three biggest supervillains in the city.
(Meanwhile, the Hero Commission is looking for what it lost.)

The rattling of bones and the sick stink of rotting flesh overwhelms his senses as the mobs approaching him grow closer and closer by the second, his legs are twisted and bloodied beneath him. He cannot run away.
Tommy is going to die here.
Somewhere in the distance, Techno hears a scream.
Or
An AU where Tommy runs away in the middle of his exile and gets badly hurt along the way. Techno finds him and does his best to nurse his stubborn brother back to health, while also struggling to uncovering just what has happened to him. And maybe, just maybe, re-building the relationship that they had once had so many years ago.

“I love you,” Tommy whispered seriously, hair bright gold and eyes an even brighter blue, still young enough that baby fat clung to his cheeks.
Techno looked at him, so earnest and willing to give his heart away, and knew that all the goodness in the world was bottled up in this boy that called himself Techno’s little brother. But he couldn’t understand what Tommy saw in him. Not with all the blood he had on his hands, the screams that he caused haunting his sleep.
“Why?” Techno didn’t appreciate the way his voice cracked.
“I love you,” Tommy repeated, not an ounce of doubt in his words, “because you are love.”

Technoblade rarely travels in the Nether anymore. He'd come down here this time to gather a few materials he can't get in the Overworld, and then he was going to leave the place where he was born but not raised.
And then he’d heard the snuffling. It’s a quiet thing, sniffling mixed with high-pitched whines, and, oh, there go his instincts. Recognizing the sound even though he’s never heard it before- though he definitely made it in his youth.
There’s a piglet nearby, and they’re terrified.
He casts one final, forlorn glance at the gold he’d seen higher up, and then he turns to follow the sound.

Tommy doesn't need a home. He's been fine on his own—it's just better that way. His parents? Buried six feet underground. His old crew? Arrested for "domestic terrorism" or some bullshit excuse like that. Tommy doesn't need a family, so he doesn't understand why this new group of strangers insist on taking him in.
Worst of all—they're peace warriors. Tommy despises peace warriors. In a war split between super-powered freaks vs. normals who like to shit on them, peace warriors refuse to fight. The only way to save their kind, Tommy believes, is through aggressive confrontation. But Phil doesn't believe that, and Tommy is set on proving him wrong. Unfortunately, going against a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company that exploits Extramundanes on his own isn't quite as easy as he believed. It doesn't help that this random annoying Aqua boy is insistent on helping him out. But again, Tommy doesn't need anyone. He's always been fine on his own.

Tommy had always associated the wings with family, and that’s why he was so happy when he began to grow a pair.
They weren’t anything special, small and soft with flight feathers just beginning to grow in, but Tommy loved them. Roughly the same species as his father, a crow, but peppered with white spots – it is unsure whether it was a genetic mutation or inheritance from his mother’s side but based off the number branded on the side of his neck it was safe to assume the former – and Tommy was sure they’d grow to be the size, if not bigger, than those of his father.

On one of these days, Philza finds a boy, roughly at the age of nine, staring blankly into the abyss of a canyon. At first, he thought the boy was idiotic, for he was throwing away his life so early. But the boy, miraculously enough, found a way to cheat death, to resist Philza’s calling so much so that it stuns the God. And so, he finds himself...getting attached.

It had been Tommy and Tubbo for practically forever. They clawed their way out of hell together. They discovered their superpowers together. They started working for the Superhero Guild together before even coming of age. Tommy probably owed Tubbo his life ten times over. So, when the three supervillains he'd been assigned to bring in managed to take Tubbo hostage, well, there was really only one thing to do.
He knew, of course, he was signing himself up for torture and death by offering that trade, but that was okay.
It'd have to be okay.

“We’re going over there,” Tommy says. Techno opens his mouth to protest, but Tommy grabs him by the hand and yanks. It’s not hard enough to actually move him, but it gets the message across. He’s not budging on this. Techno either comes with him or stays here.
When they reach the stall, the owner straightens back up and clasps his hands in front of him. “Hey,” He says, in that same accent that Tommy can’t quite remove from his Commontongue, “Nice to see another human around here.”
Tommy is silent for a few heartbeats, both stunned and awed. “...I haven’t seen another human since I got dragged up here,” He replies, slightly breathless.

Tommy, a human who ended up in space after a series of events, has been adopted as a crew member of the ship SBI, consisting of Wilbur Soot, a Phantom, Technoblade, a Piglin, and Philza, an Elytrian. That, however, is a long, convuluted plot of happenings. This is about their daily lives, wherein they are constantly struggling to keep Tommy from dying.
