Summary
One moment, Ukai Keishin is fighting a losing battle, leading his battalion as best he can. In the next, he’s transported to the far-away village, thanks to an enemy war mage. A kindly healer named Takeda Ittetsu takes him in and promises to tend to his wounds for free if Ukai will teach his young students how to defend themselves with sword and shield. The job is easy, and soon, Ukai begins to care for the town, his students, and the lovely healer who took him in.
But not everything is as it seems. Takeda and Ukai’s paths crossed many years before, even if Ukai does not remember, and it leaves them on opposite sides of an ongoing war.

"He's old enough to marry and take the crown, now," an older man muttered as he walked by, "They must bring him back to find him a suitor and prepare him for the throne."
"Why are ya so damn invested in the fuckin' prick?" Katsuki's lip curled in disdain, arms folded as he slouched back against a tree. "He's just another fuckin' royal that'll have fun come Hunt Season."
Mitsuki shot him a glare, Denki visibly wilting behind her at the mention of the dreaded season.
"I oughta wash your fuckin' mouth, Katsuki. We do not talk about Hunt Season, ya hear?"
"It's our fuckin' way of life, hag," he snapped back. "Can't pretend it doesn't fuckin' exist! It does! Happens every fuckin' year!"

Summary
Ukai Keishin was born with two curses: lycanthropy and three rows of teeth. After years of being kidnapped by a sorcerer and forced to undergo painful extractions of his teeth for the sorcerer's profit, Ukai escapes and meets Takeda, an alchemist and healer who helps disguise him and helps Ukai find what's left of his old pack.
But as he develops feelings for the sorcerer, Ukai finds himself at a crossroads: to love Takeda and put him in danger, or leave him in order to keep him safe from his former kidnapper, and from his own feral nature.

Katsuki’s heartbeat thundered in his ears; there was a pair of high-pitched warbles that shattered the air. Young, effervescent voices crying out into the dark. By the shouts and jeers from the rest of the crew, Katsuki knew it wasn’t a school of mackerel flailing within their fibers.
His whole body froze, muscles locking as the unfamiliar sound of a captured mer drowned out the crew’s shouting. He barely registered what they were saying, hoping he could still save the mer before it was too late.Bakugou Katsuki is an expert on mer and he's sworn to protect them from pirates and poachers. He joins a pirate crew to sabotage their hunt and comes across the most beautiful mer he'd ever seen. He's forced to drastic measures to protect Deku, even at the cost of his own life.

Mob warns Serizawa that he's felt a small, but dark presence around the general vicinity of Spirits and Such that he's noticed for a few months, now. He hasn't investigated since it feels too small to do real harm, and it never comes out, but mentions it, because it's been getting increasingly larger as time has gone on. Serizawa can't feel it, but accepts the warning and can't seem to feel it. This is because this presence isn't a spirit. It's a person just barely keeping a cap on their emotions.
