Summary
Jenevelle didn’t know what to expect when she took her sort-of-nephew Pluck to his soccer practice. She didn’t know the game, or the players, or the types of people she might encounter. All she knew was that his parents, Karlach and Wyll, were desperate for her help. She thought she was ready for anything but she never could have anticipated Pluck’s stern and mysterious coach, hugged in cute little shorts. Suddenly, soccer was a lot more interesting to Jen, and she began a game of her own.
Her only goal? Score with Lae’zel.
She certainly never expected that, in the process, they’d both find everything they’d ever wanted.

Lae'zel had never been one for flowers. That all changed the day she saw the most enchanting woman she'd ever seen, through the window of one quaint little florist: "Hallowleaf's".
She kept going back. A year later, she and Jenevelle had become quite familiar; Jen even prepared bouquets to surprise Lae'zel. Lae'zel was incredibly infatuated with her. Lae'zel was absolutely in love with her.
Lae'zel was still trying to work up the courage to ask her out.
But perhaps there was more to Jen than met the eye, and perhaps Lae'zel didn't care, so long as she knew her.

Summary
Shadowheart refuses to heal the wounds she receives during the battle for Moonrise Towers, partly as self-flagellation for rejecting Shar, and partly because she still can't admit that she now draws her divine magic from Selune, and won't use it if she feels like she doesn't have to. Jaheira seeks her out to thank her for her role in winning the battle and ends up making Shadowheart accept healing, and then giving her a bit more on top of that.

Stealing a poor dog’s ball?” Shadowheart makes a grab for the ball; Lae’zel tosses it to her other hand, grimacing at the sheen of drool it leaves behind. “For what purpose? Just to ruin the day of a being actually capable of feeling joy?”
“By the hells, Shadowheart, she’s taking the thing for a bloody walk,” Wyll says from his tent.
“A walk,” Shadowheart repeats, crossing her arms. “Why?”
“I assume the animals of this world require some amount of exercise if they’re not to collapse under the weight of their own atrophying muscles,” Lae’zel says. “But you wouldn’t know, would you? Do the disciples of Shar pre-kill their pets so they can skip right to the loss?”
