“Oh, you saw Kuina.” Luffy says, when Sanji recounts what he just experienced. Luffy found him frozen at the bottom of the stairs and had enough tact to ask what was wrong before asking for lunch. “She’s Zoro’s soulmate.”
“Are you meant to see other people's soulmates?” Sanji asks, still hyperventilating a little bit, “I thought that was a one-on-one kind of experience.”
“If you’re really really close with some people, it happens,” Nami says, from where she’s shamelessly eavesdropping. Sanji feels his heart warmed—she noticed him freezing up and cared enough about him to listen in. Women have such naturally kind and empathetic souls. “It’s something about souls intertwining? I don’t really know the science of it all.”

Summary
Marco’s a good kid. Hardworking, and clearly experienced with work on a pirate ship. He was brave enough to request Gol D. Roger for safe passage to Sabaody on a pirate ship, but smart enough to stick with them when his father—probably dead—is late to show. Rayleigh sees a lot of himself in Marco. In ten, twenty years, Rayleigh has no doubt Marco would be a feared pirate.
Rayleigh just didn’t expect the kid to be outsmarting him now.

Summary

There are some holes in the narrative, and The Bachelor is foolish enough to pull at the thread fraying around them. In the end, The Bachelor's disbelief is strong enough to perform miracles.

Summary
“I used to ask Judge every day what I did to deserve this,” King thunders. “Do you know what he finally told me?!”
Sanji’s chest wracks with something dangerously close to a sob. “He said it’s because you were born!”
And despite all his grace, King stumbles –– like an angel cast out of heaven, taking his first wobbly steps on mortal ground. It’s clear he thought the question was rhetorical from the way he wavers, “How did you know that?” like he hadn’t even expected an answer, let alone the right one.
Sanji tries to respond, but he looks at King and sees a twisted science experiment, and sees––god, fuck, himself. Sees a man who spent his childhood strapped to a surgical table, and it was the closest thing he had to being held.
This is it. He has nothing left to hide. Sanji reaches a precious hand into the Pandora’s box inside his soul and rips it open, lets the ruins fly.
“Because he said the same thing to me!”

In an alternate universe, King fights Sanji instead of Zoro during the Raid on Onigashima. There, they discover how true the phrase 'I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy' can really be.
