Summary

***I encourage those who usually don't read teachers/students to give this a chance. There are no instances in which there are taboo power dynamics, at least of a sexual nature. Heed the slow burn quite literally. A smoldering if you will.
After catching Y/N breaking the rules, Severus Snape sees the layers of the quiet student's personality peel before his eyes. The more he sees, the more intrigued he becomes as he indulges in the growing connection that exposes him to a world he thought he once knew and the peace he'd always been yearning for.

Takes place in the 90's like the movies (I'd like to think 1996 or 1997), but some character time-canon things are tweaked, so it's not strictly canon-compliant (Draco is not at Hogwarts yet/Weasley twins are in their third year). I write her being 20-21 in mind, but feel free to self-insert a different age. Reader is a 7th-year student who transferred in her 5th year. Snape being Draco's godfather fanon trope included. Malfoy family is a little OOC (not blood supremacists.)

An AU with the 'Reader' entering the Circus and altering the perceptions of the adventures and functioning as a sounding board for Caine...who is rather good at not listening. Chapter 1 introduces the Reader to the Circus, and subsequent chapters will gently delve into acclimating to it. This tale will eventually have explicit content, the tags will be updated accordingly with subsequent chapters, but ultimately this is a slow burn story. Don't expect things to get intense quickly.

Starts prior to Into the Ring, and loosely follows the canon timeline. There is eventually smut, so enter at your peril. Reader is never physically described but uses a false name and may be treated as an OC.

You have a knack for finding trouble, be it in the midst of Galactic Civil War or when trying to live the quiet life after getting out of the game. So when you're stuck fleeing your new home planet after pissing off the wrong people - again - there's only one person willing to take you: the Mandalorian.
But after years of fighting faceless men, you're not the trusting type toward someone always wearing a helmet and the Mandalorian quickly suspects there's more to you than he knows.
*This is seriously a very slow burn, very plot-heavy fic!
