“I guess,” Dazai mumbled. As a friend, he wanted to add, but no! Not even that! They weren’t friends. Dazai hated Fyodor—they were only doing this because, well… Enough forced proximity could do that to a person. Being roommates with someone this irritating could do that to a person.

“Since you have me all figured out,” Fyodor argued, “why are we prolonging this?”
“So desperate,” Dazai said with a click of his tongue and dragged Fyodor over to the bed.

There was an uproar in the agency. You couldn’t distinguish any single voice amongst the cacophony. Everybody was screaming over each other, and Dazai felt like his ear drums might burst.
There was an open envelope and letter discarded on the floor. The letter, which was crumpled and had a few rips at the edge, was being stepped on carelessly by the detectives.
It read ‘I know who has the Book -Fyodor Dostoevsky’.

That is until they encounter the very wanted terrorist, Fyodor, sitting down out on the open, playing chess with… Dazai?

It was hard to pinpoint what exactly made Mushitarou hang around Yokomizo so much.
Yokomizo was lethargic but still managed just enough energy to be a pest. He was messy, unruly, an alcoholic, and hardly organized. He loved to write those damn mysteries for God knows what reason. He complained of not having ideas also but rejected any Mushitarou gave him. Worst of all, he was patient, kind and always had a smile on his face when Mushitarou came by. There really shouldn’t be any reason to willingly subject himself to the torture that was an optimist’s company. So why did Mushitarou always seem to be by Yokomizo’s side?
If anyone ever were to ask, Mushitarou wouldn’t be able to give a good answer.
Luckily, nobody asked.
There was nobody else Mushitarou felt that he needed to talk to.Mushitarou Oguri visits an old friend from school.

Fyodor, a devout and meticulously disciplined believer, struggles to pray himself free from temptation when Dazai,messy, irreverent, and achingly human, invades his carefully ordered world. As Fyodor begs God to lead him away from sin, Dazai becomes the embodiment of everything he is meant to resist, blurring the line between blasphemy and devotion. In the end, faith falters, prayer goes unanswered, and Fyodor falls. Not away from temptation, but straight into it.

“It’s your first time, let me show you magic!”, instead of unfastening the belt and finally giving them both what they crave Nikolai propped up on elbows and beamed innocently like he wasn’t about to introduce self-proclaimed God to concept of cardinal sin.
Fyodor glared daggers but with flushed cheeks and glassy eyes he looked more enticing and intimidating. Then he just sighed, threw head back onto pillow and demanded in already way too exhausted tone - “Drop the theatricality and just fuck me already”
In which Nikolai jinxes his chances of getting laid by being a clown.

In which Nikolai impulsively eludes death during operation with hostages and is left to ponder just what clipped his free will away.
