Summary
No one likes that dragons went extinct. No one likes that dodos are extinct either. Or passenger pigeons. Or Tasmanian Tigers. Or Wooly Mammoths or anything else further back.
But some people can’t drop it.
No one knows the exact date. It was pre-camera, the late seventeenth century is the best bet. Every year some crazy person claims to have seen a dragon in the woods, and inevitably it always ends up being a bear, or a rock, or a weird looking tree.
In the past 20 years, over 300 works of art having to do with dragons have been reported stolen. Some from private collections, some from museums. A lot of them paintings cut out of their frames with what appears to be a small knife. Skeletons, carved dragon-ivory knick knacks. Notably, a suit of medieval armor which appeared to be fireproofed with dragon scales.
All of it gone. None of it ever seen again.

Summary
Sequel to Coming of Age: With Danny's secret out thanks to the forced fight for the throne of the Ghost King, he has to navigate recovery from his injuries, the legal implications of his position, and the government trying their hardest to find a loophole that will let them arrest him.
On top of this, Danny is still struggling internally with what he did to the former Ghost King, and all the responsibilities of his new title.
He was already struggling to keep his powers in check so he didn't hurt anyone, and now the GiW wants to push him to his limits.
At least, he's pretty sure it's just the GiW.

Wes and his brother Kyle have just moved to Amity Park. Wes is only worried about fitting in, but all the ghost nonsense is making that harder and harder. Something weird is going on in this place, and his chemistry lab partner was no different. Seriously, what the hell was up with the Fenton kid and why did everyone ignore it?
Danny is a junior in highschool, and pressure is squeezing in on all sides. Keeping good enough grades to graduate, and dealing with the snoopy new kid wasn't bad enough, but he's starting to feel like his parents are getting closer to figuring out his secret. Jazz is off at college and he didn't realize just how helpful it was when she was home to cover for him.
Danny's been able to keep his secret at school for one reason, and that's that no one cares to watch him close enough to connect the dots. Wes is different.

He misses the Circus lights. How can he finish the show when it’s so dark?
The stranger pauses to listen to a hidden earpiece. “Yeah. No. Faster. Guy’s more glass than ass, here.” Brooklyn accent.
“Actually,” Clint wheezes, “Most of it’s…” he draws in a shallow breath, “in my head.”
