“I really didn’t wanna cry, y’know? But I can’t help it, either,” he says, voice beginning to tremble. “Because this really is goodbye for us.”
“It truly is.” Yusuke weakly smiles. “Farewell, Ryuji.”
“Yeah, you too, Yusuke.” Through the endless flow of tears, Ryuji is still smiling his way. “Thank you,” he whispers, “for loving someone like me.” He takes one last step back, falling off the pier and plunging into the ocean below right as the sun peaks out from over the horizon.

Summary
After a fight with the Phantom Thieves, Ryuji comes across the detective Goro Akechi, who seems to be bothered by problems of his own. Their brief conversation makes Ryuji realize that, maybe, he doesn’t have a place in that group, and that his presence is only making things more difficult for his friends and himself. When the Phantom Thieves don’t respond well to his decision to leave, Ryuji—still affected by the situation—finds kindness and support in that person he never thought he would befriend.
However, both Goro and himself have things they keep hidden from each other, and when these secrets finally come to the surface, they may also change everything about their relationship.

Suddenly, Ryuji had an idea of where he was going with all that.

Summary
By now, Ryuji is used to early morning texts from Yusuke, usually related to art or hanging out that day. This time, however, he’s been asked to come over “as soon as humanly possible” without any other explanation. Something in Ryuji’s chest tightens when he realizes that if this were an actual emergency, Yusuke would have contacted the other Phantom Thieves and their group chat would be blowing up. But no, here Yusuke is, messaging specifically Ryuji.
He heads over without a second thought, hopping out the door while still putting his shoes on.

Sighing deeply, he looks around Yusuke’s room. It’s oddly intimate, seeing someone’s whole living setup. The place they live and sleep. His instant ramen station is neat and tidy, a few utensils and mugs on the counter. His bed is neatly made. His closet door is open and he can see all of his outfits hung up nicely. The organizational nature of most of the room contrasts with the mess of cups and paper on the floor. It’s kind of weird. Probably just like Yusuke’s brain, he imagines.

Me: I didn't put it so great but yeah I think that's about the gist of it. I mean, it's hard to teach your kids to be happy if you ain't ever been allowed to be happy I guess?

Shadows of all shapes and sizes scurried around the ship, hauling wood and sails and ropes and every other material needed to fix the ship. He recognized most of them, from his previous life as a Phantom Thief, but there was a growing handful of shadows that he didn’t recognize. Ones that looked similar to each other, ones that reminded Ryuji of sailors, with masks over their faces…
“They kinda look like wanderin’ shadows, don’t they..?” Ryuji watched one of them hammer away at the side of his ship. “Like the ones we saw… patrollin’ ‘round every other Palace…” his words trailed off with a mumble.
He had to remind himself, he was in a Palace. In his own Palace. He was a Palace ruler now.

“I-if I may. Sunflowers represent loyalty, joy, and adoration.” Noir explained what she knew about these flowers, though it was hard to miss that she still sounded shaken up, not that anyone could blame her.
“Then what are they doing here?” While Mona’s question was justified, Akira couldn’t help but say his thoughts out loud.
“Well, for one they fit him.”
“Don’t listen to him, Ryuji. I get that that’s how you feel, but you are wrong. You are the most important thing to your mother and you should know that. There’s a cognitive version of her here. She always brings you a vase with sunflowers.” That seemed to trigger something inside of the blond boy.
“Sh-she does?”
“Yes. There were tons of those throughout the entire Palace.”
“She… she got me some after Kamoshida broke my leg… it made my time at the hospital better…”

He could easily sit here and question everything about this. Why Ryuji always found his way back to his manor. Why Loki found his way to the blondes dungeon on occasion, while his second half wandered the manor with the Phantom Thieves. Why the manor, which was often so well guarded and locked off, allowed the Shadow of Resentment inside so willfully.
Yet he won't.

While battling in Mementos, Ryuji gets hit with a status effect that makes him completely head over heels for Yusuke. For his part, Yusuke doesn't want to just shoot him down, but also feels uncomfortable accepting declarations of love from a friend who is basically inebriated. Shenanigans ensue!

"O-of course I can!" He actually hasn't tried it here...he tries it at home but... "My glorious, splendiferous Queen herself gave me a mug that said 'NO. 1 Best Flyer!'" He remembers that mug fondly, it even has a cute little icon of a triangular bird with a red eye. His name wasn't Peckasso, though.
"Prove it." Berdly blinks.

Summary
On a day like any other where Kris and Susie happen to be absent from class, Noelle and Berdly are sent in their place to fetch chalk from the supply closet. Such a seemingly simple task with such incredible consequences...now they're dumped into the Dark World with a very confused Ralsei and a job to do nonetheless.
Noelle and Berdly need to learn to navigate a world that doesn't want them to be there through hell and high water, and along the way they somehow have to figure out where they stand in relation to each other and themselves.

Despite the fact that he attends every after school club, volunteers at the library and church, and even spends most of his time helping his mother, there’s something preventing him from being seen as a “golden child” when compared to Noelle–who everyone fawns over with little effort on her part.
