He and Roman met eyes and any joy he had about having Cody back in his home was instantly gone. It could have been someone else, literally anyone else, he’d even take Dominik Mysterio over Roman Reigns.
The way he leaned against his wall pissed him off, the way he had his shoes on his floor pissed him off, the way he thought he had any claim to his Cody Rhodes pissed him off. He was letting Roman have Cody and to him that was being more than nice.
He was a saint! One of the Lord’s most generous angels. Yet he was giving to one of the Devil’s closest relatives.
