Summary
Hermit’s Hollow was a quiet town where you learned to ignore whisperings of nonsense and the dull, persistent feeling of being watched before you learned to ride a bike. To call it pedestrian would be a great disservice to all the terrible oddities occupying it— folks and legends alike.

"Scar?" Grian repeated, more shifting, like he was sitting up. Tired but gentle confusion in his voice. "Are you okay?"
Scar should've hung up. It was bad enough he'd actually called. He should've lied, should've said it was a misdial and pretended to be okay. He should've done a hundred things and he did the one thing he shouldn't, because despite everything that happened between them, Scar felt safest with the one who hurt him. He said, a trembling whisper, "No."

“I suppose not,” Akaashi says, after a moment. He glances over at Kenma. “This is turning out harder than we thought.”
There's an odd tension between Bokuto and Kuroo, one that everyone seems to be able to pick up on. Everyone of course, except for themselves.

Kiyoomi closes his eyes, slowly. He prays that the ground opens up and swallows him whole. He prays that a whole earthquake rocks Tokyo and brings the place down on him, specifically. He prays that some higher power decides to strike him with lightning right this minute.
“Actually,” he says, grinding it out through clenched teeth, “you haven’t seen any other kids around, have you?”
It's Kiyoomi's last resort to ask a stranger for help finding his sister's missing kids, but it's not like this night can get any weirder, and Miya Atsumu's kind of hot.

Summary
Rintarou reaches out and grabs Atsumu’s shirt collar, effectively shutting down his dramatic tirade on why the order of kissing another person actually matters. “Do you ever shut up,” he snaps. Their noses are nearly brushing. Atsumu's smile widens, taking on a smug curve that makes Rintarou predictably irritated.
“Make me,” Atsumu whispers.
A stupid party game turns kissing Atsumu into a habit Suna can't seem to shake, but maybe he hadn't wanted to stop in the first place.

It was just—Kenma was a little weird sometimes. The kind of weird that made Keiji nervous because it reminded him of himself—like maybe there was a lot going on in Kenma’s head, too much, and if he didn’t watch himself he might end up blurting out something unpleasant.
Kenma wore baggy clothes. Today it was a sweatshirt and a thin pair of worn out chinos, but other days it was sweatpants, or loose jeans and two shirts, or a jacket much too warm for the weather.
Maybe he ran cold.But sometimes his hands shook—like they were now. His slender fingers trembled slightly, like leaves in a breeze, and Kenma gazed at them for a moment before tucking them under his legs and focusing back on the front of the room, which Keiji for the life of him couldn’t seem to do himself.

Or, Kenma doesn't eat enough, so Keiji starts feeding him. Here and there, bit by bit, like coaxing a stray cat into his arms with bits of turkey.
