Since the NATLA writers decided to steal from my middle school Zutara fanfiction for S2, I am now forced to subject you all to a series of scenes that I would include in S3 if I were in charge for my first-ever Zutara Week submission. Some sad, some dark, some sweet. But hopefully all enjoyable.
AKA
Sunday: 'He’d watch Katara as she practiced her own bending, usually on rainy days, something that -in a way- was more impressive than the Avatar's feats. Or when she sat at the windowsill of her bedroom to read, mend clothes, or brush her hair.'
Monday: “Well, are you coming?” Katara asked. She reached up and pulled the tie of her cloak loose. Its maroon fabric floated around her like a pool of blood. “I won't wait for you.”
Tuesday: “I know you’re angry with me, and you have every right to be,” Zuko replied, trying to pour every ounce of the guilt and shame he’d felt since Ba Sing Se into his words. “I messed up so badly, but I want to fix it. I want to join you and the Avatar. I want to teach him firebending and help him end this war!”

so i saw the new avatar movie and it was fun but mostly i was just using my imagination to throw canon out and think about zutara, you know how it goes
i think it's pretty cool that zuko was like fuck it i can fly an airship that's a thing i can do - like yeah king take to the skies with your beautiful castlevania hair
so then i just wanted to write a sweet little scene of Katara and Zuko traveling by air so here it is!
i just like imagining them and imagining the way the turn things and spaces that were once kinda scary and cold into something beautiful and warm <3
