Summary
After a near miss at staying Darth Vader and losing Padmé in childbirth, Anakin Skywalker knew the best thing he could do for the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War was to stay out of it. Living the quiet life of a family man and moisture farmer on Tatooine, so far Anakin had managed to do just that.
Until his eighteen-year-old daughter eloped with an absolute scoundrel of a smuggler and ran away to join the Rebel Alliance.
In his quest to recover her, Anakin finds himself thrust back into the galactic spotlight, and reunited with old friends—and enemies—and comes to realize that if the galaxy is too dangerous for his kids to follow their dreams, he just might have to do something about the galaxy.
Sequel to “The Last Argument.” Can be read as a stand alone, but will make a bit more sense after reading that one first.

The angels find out from the beginning about Aziraphale giving away the flambeing sword and they are NOT happy about it. They know God is the only one who can really make angels Fall but that's not going to stop them from trying. They leave him at the gates of Hell to the mercy of the demons. Luckily, Crawley recognizes him immediately and steps in.
What results is "Our own side" coming much sooner as the two of them are basically free to be together throughout history and as such there's no sneaking around trying to justify "good" or "bad" things--just what they want. Together.- Language:

He reaches in the basket pulling the child out. He holds the infant against his shoulder. "Shhhhh," Crowley's knees bend slightly over and over as the little one fusses in his arms, a slight bob, and dance.
