Summary
The universe Bruce wakes up in has superheroes, aliens and, somewhat more strangely, it also has four children living in Wayne Manor.
Bruce Wayne is almost forty. He's been an innovator, a philanthropist and GQ's Most Wanted twelve years counting. He doesn't remember being a dad. But now that he is, he's going to be the best dad one could possibly be.
Or: Batman is a dick. AU-Bruce saves the day.

Summary
“You think I’m gonna go into school tomorrow and tell everybody Red Robin passed out in my lap and my foster dad is an assassin?”
Tim opened one eye. “You could leave that first part out.”
Duke glared at him. “Nobody asked you.”
Tim gave him a thumbs up and closed his eye again.
“I’m not an assassin,” Jason reminded him, sounding tired.
OR:
With Batman gone, Gotham is falling apart. But Jason has bigger problems. Like this kid who just got dumped on his doorstep due to a case of mistaken identity. What was his name again? Oh yeah. Duke Thomas.
(Shut up Tim! Jason did not have Bruce's adoption disease!)

Displacement by Imbecamiel

Summary
Reconciliation is a process that takes time. Sometimes not quite as much time as you'd think.
There's an emotional throughline of developing character dynamics over the course of the series, but I've written the vast majority of the stories to be self-contained plot-wise. There's no required reading order if you want to jump around to ones that catch your interest, though I do recommend starting with Displacement itself for background.

Someday you'll wake up and realize that you have what you wanted, that it's real, Bruce had said. Someday, you'll wake up and you'll realize that everything is okay.
Jason had made it to someday. He had what he wanted. It was real. He no longer dreamt of it all falling away, of losing it all. Everything was okay.
It was just that he thought someday would be easier.

"Where's your pops?" Terry shouted down the sidewalk.
"Dunno," Jason said. "Haven't seen him in a week. I stopped goin' lookin' for him a long time ago."
Hell, Jason was happy with the man's absence. Maybe it would stick, this time.
"He owes me fifty bucks." Terry, closer to Jason now, was still shouting.
Jason spun around and started walking backwards. "What'a'ya know," he said. "Me too."

The following is a transcript of Patrol Communications Audio written by state of the art transcription technology, IRIS (Interpretation of Recorded Intelligence Software). IRIS was created to provide easily searchable records, automatically, and eliminate the need to transcribe each patrol audio log manually. That being said, IRIS is still experimental, and may not always be entirely accurate.

Summary
"M-My dad said you, you’d,” the kid says, swallowing. “That if I didn’t, that if I didn’t behave, he’d sell me to you. And you, you would…”
The shock burns away immediately; the ashes condense into a murky, muted sort of rage.
He stays still for a long moment, then pulls himself up against the wall. “Okay,” he says monotonously, taking a step toward the kid, and the kid- flinches. He flinches.
Jason reels back, not speaking yet, not trusting himself not to yell. And when he does speak, he says:
“Come on, kid. Let's go say hi to your dad."

Jason's laughter has turned into breathless, silent cries. Damian barrels on, seemingly unbothered by his state.
"-And during all this I'm trying to subtly switch back to using people's actual names; except it fucking backfired because people just assumed I was calling Richard 'Richard' because we had that special parental mentor bond, and Tim had pissed off to- whatever he was doing in the desert for six months- getting a hysterectomy or whatever the fuck happened-"
"Hysterectomy-" Jason repeats, shrill. "He lost a spleen, Dames."
