Why are you just standing there with your mouth gaping? Ah, you must be stunned and at a loss for words... Understandable, it is I after all... Fontaine's most beloved star, Furina. I'm on a very tight schedule, so you're lucky to even get an appointment with me.
A casual analysis of Lyney's and Furina's "Hello" voicelines.
First, looking at the two's introductions in the English version without accounting for voice acting, seeing which Grecian maxims they flaunt and what that might mean. Then, looking at Lyney's introduction in Chinese and how it compares to English, while accounting for voice acting.Series

Summary
I’ve always felt the Fontaine battle theme “Lamentation et Triomphe” fits Furina’s situation regarding during her performance.
A battle theme that sounds like a performance with high stakes at hand, like your life—no, like your people’s lives depend on it.
Yet this piece feels like it never ends.
Everytime the music suddenly swells, it’s because she must uphold that grandeur. Everytime it feels like it should end, the tension returns, like the prophecy looming over the nation. Like what the performance costs her.
There’s brief respite, as though she’s playing with animals and gaining a semblance of peace. But it doesn’t stay that way.
It sounds like a grand performance but there’s an undercurrent of unease.
And I want to see how it’s done.—
Analyzing music from a character-driven narrative perspective, interpreting how Furina’s struggle against the prophecy is told through the piece’s different sections and lack of resolution.Series
